As irreverent as some teens are, hell- even some adults, there are still phrases that just won’t roll off their tongues. Fortunately, speech isn’t the only way communicate. When LIME, a leading wireless phone provider in the eastern caribbean, asked us to promote their new competitive messaging plan, we thought this would be a great insight to bounce off. We presented the following prints and tv script.
We open the scene inside a classroom, a boy is sitting behind a girl.
She’s reading responsibly. He’s fidgety and hesitant.
He attempts to poke her shoulder, but pulls back and refocuses on his book.
We cut to a concert where a group of friends are jumping
in the midst of a large and loud crowd.
A young girl stands still signaling her friend, trying to communicate;
not really understanding, her friend smiles, shrugs her shoulders
and continues jumping and singing.
We cut to a library. Two boys are studying in a group,
when an attractive young girl sits at a nearby table. They look
at each other, one smiles, the other doesn’t.
They both turn back to their books.

One of the boys grabs his cell phone and we see a close
